This is one of the best cost effective products we have ever sold to control flies. It is also a very safe and practical way to control cluster flies in your loft/attic.

The FliTrap is a new fly trap product that attracts, contains and kills up to 1000 flies with just one, non-chemical, attractant sachet.

How it works:
Flies follow each other. They watch each other constantly, if one finds food, others will gather. This fact is a big part of the success of the FliTrap, as it traps the flies alive and their buzzing activity in the trap attracts many other flies to the trap. Flies are initially attracted to the trap by the attractant lure supplied with the trap. Once caught and trapped within the FliTrap, the buzzing flies release their own natural pheromones which aid in luring even more unwitting insects to the trap.

Each FliTrap is supplied with one lure sachet that would normally last up to one month, however, the FliTrap may fill with flies sooner and at which point the trap would need to be emptied, cleaned and filled with a new sachet.

This is a great way to control flies outside and in and is our preferred method of controlling cluster flies.

Once caught many of the flies drown as the lure is mixed with water, however, many of our customers prefer to spray insecticide into the holes of the trap to kill all the caught flies before opening the trap to deposit the flies in the bin. We recommend Protector C, further down this page, as a safe insecticide to use.
